This toy is made from European alder wood and finished with nontoxic, water based dyes. Wood is an ideal material for children's toys, as bacteria cannot reproduce on wood. Most Grimm's products are grinded by hand -- which gives a more charming expression compared to machined products.  All used dyes are water based and in accordance with EN-71, is harmless to your health and suitable for children toys. The same is true for the natural oil used.

Stacked height of these Rainbow Bowls about 8 inches, about 4 inches in diameter. The largest bowl measures 4 in. diameter by 1.5-inches tall. The smallest bowl measures approximately 1.25-inches in diameter. Made in Germany.
